Don't Drink And Drive

This young lady was recently on Oprah and what a loving, forgiving young woman she is ! An amazing story of what she has suffered and will bear the rest of her life. Please share this with your friends and especially your teenagers who are driving.

This is Jacqueline Saburido on September 19, 1999.


This is she and her Father, 1998.

The car in which Jacqueline traveled. She was hit by another car that was driven by a 17-year old male student on his way home after drinking a couple of hard packs with his friends. This was in December 1999.


Jacqueline was caught in the burning car and her body was heavily burnt during around 45 seconds. After the accident Jacqueline has needed over 40 operations.

Without a left eyelid Jacquie needs eye drops to keep her vision.


Now 31 years old, he cannot forgive himself for driving drunk on that night eleven years ago. He's aware of devastating Jacqueline Saburidos life.


Not everyone who gets hit with a car dies. This picture was taken 4 years after the accident and the doctors are still working on Jacqueline, whose body was covered with 60% severe burns.


Let's make as many people as we can aware of the consequences of drinking & driving.

R.I.P. Cara - I will always love you.

On Mondy, May 25th, my little girl, Cara, passed away after a year and a half bout with cancer and copper storage disease. She was 12 years old and the greatest present I ever received.

When I was 21 (I'm now 33), my little dog Ali passed away and I was very depressed. Unknown to me, my mother was talking to her friend Marianne whom I bought Ali from. Marianne and my mom showed and breed English Cocker Spaniels. The reason I mentioned that is Marianne phoned Jeanie who own one of Ali's puppies. The puppy she owned was now 9 years.

Jeanie breed Ali's puppy and there was a chance she would not get pregnant being that old. Thankfully, she did get pregnant and had a few puppies. There was 1 female in the litter and that was Cara.

One night my mother and brother said they had to go out. When they returned home, they had Cara. They were toweling her off after giving her a bath, since she was filthy from her plane ride, when I walked into the dog room and I saw her.

She didn't pay any attention to my mother or my brother, but when she saw me she ran out of their arms and right into mine. I broke down into tears. She looked "exactly" like Ali right down to the little white spot on her head and had the same cute personality. We were best friends right from the start.

That night, something wonderful happened in my life and I will always be grateful to my mother, brother, Marianne and Jeanie for what they did for me.

Rest in peace my little girl. I will always love you and will miss you very much.

I've had a great time keeping up My Junk Mail and receiving all your jokes, vids and pics. But, all good things must come to an end. So, today will be the last day I will post to My Junk Mail.

I know many of you are probably saying, "But Charles...say it ain't so!?", but the fact is I've run out of things to post. Instead of combing the internet looking for stuff to post and taking time away from my wife, family, cats, dog, work, reddit.com, geocaching and other things I like to do, I'm simply letting the site go dark.

It's been a fun ride and I've appreciated all the support you all have given me with your emails, but it wasn't enough. Maybe someday, someone will want to continue my quest and post more, but until that time comes, I must bid you goodbye. I will miss you all...

Wanted to share our happy news. Been on the phone all day, but figured this might be easier.

Rob proposed last night. He gave me a motorcycle helmet, so I could learn to ride with him. When I tried it on, the ring was taped to the shield. It was a total shock.

We are ecstatic and wanted to share the joy with everyone. I've attached a picture of the ring he picked out. It's beautiful.

Jury Duty Scam

This has been verified by the FBI (their link is also included below). Please pass this on to everyone in your email address book. It is spreading fast so be prepared should you get this call. Most of us take those summonses for jury duty seriously, but enough people skip out on their civic duty, that a new and ominous kind of fraud has surfaced.

The caller claims to be a jury coordinator. If you protest that you never received a summons for jury duty, the scammer asks you for your Social Security number and date of birth so he or she can verify the information and cancel the arrest warrant. Give out any of this information and bingo; your identity was just stolen.

The fraud has been reported so far in 11 states, including Oklahoma , Illinois , and Colorado . This (swindle) is particularly insidious because they use intimidation over the phone to try to bully people into giving information by pretending they are with the court system. The FBI and the federal court system have issued nationwide alerts on their web sites, warning consumers about the fraud.

I Messed Up On Yesterday's Post

Thank You To Everyone! I'm Back!

Hi Everyone:

Charles here, the man behind My Junk Mail. I just wanted to say, "Thank You!" to everyone who has emailed me about WHERE ARE ALL THE JOKES LATELY? Well, truth is, I do this as a hobby and my time has been taken up recently. But, I'm happy to say I will be back in the swing of things starting today.

So, where have I been? Well, I work as a mortgage broker and in case you haven't turned on your TV or radio for the past year, the business has sucked. I'm working 3 times as hard to make ends meet. Also, my wife, Laura, is starting a cool shoe company and I had to work on their online store (I also moonlight as an website developer and search engine optimization expert), so I literally had no time to keep up with the posts.

Oh, before I forget, visit my wife's online store and check out her interchangeable shoes at www.thesnappypair.com. Her and a couple of partners have a patent on a shoe product that interchanges the jewelry or embellishments on shoes. It's really cool and I hope they do great! So, please spread the word around for me.

OK, so back to me. I couldn't believe when I checked my email how many of you actually missed my posts! Truthfully, I didn't think anyone really cared about this blog, so I didn't think anyone would miss the fact that I haven't been posting for a while, but you all proved me wrong and I thank you for that.

I'm started posting again today, but I'm going to start tonight going through the many "junk emails" you all have sent the get them up on the site. Thank goodness Blogger has a post scheduler, so I can do a bunch at once.

Once again, "Thank You" from the bottom of my heart for keeping interest and making me realize that what I'm doing is bringing a smile to someone. If I never earn a dime from doing this, at least that is worth more then money could give me.
