Update: There has been a lot of controversy over this post. People have been stating that the new dollar has "In God We Trust" engraved on the side of the coin instead of on the front. isn't "In God We Trust" inscribed around the coin's edge? (ie: where the ridges are on a quarter or dime)?
ever heard of the separation of Church and State? 'In God we trust' has no place on our money unless you start respecting 'Goddess' in the very same way. WTF!?!?
Why should coins have a religious inscription on them anyway? Wouldn't we be better off keeping the material and spiritual realms separate? Didn't Jesus say as much when he preached, "render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's ..."?
